Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26th, 1991) is better known under her stage name Ari Lennox is an American singer and songwriter from Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist to be associated with J. Cole's record label Dreamville Records. Dreamville Records released her debut album titled Pho in the month of October of 2016 when she began to gain recognition. Shea Butter Baby released her first album of studio work on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox started uploading her music on the internet in 2012 as she launched her debut mixtape, Five Finger Discount and debut EP Ariography, in 2013. The singer continued uploading her songs online throughout 2014, including the independently-released single Bound. On July 21 2015 she was featured on Omen's album Elephant Eyes with the track Sweat It Out. J. Cole had her send her songs in the direction of his Dreamville Team later that year because he was hoping for Rihanna to be able work alongside her on some of the songs. On Decemb
